Description / Expertise
The stars (Gen I:14-19) were created for signs and for seasons. Signs therefore of something or someone to come. Those who understand them are enlightened by them, those who do not may well be 'disarrayed' (Jerimiah IV:2). In order to tell where the zodiacal circle begins as the sun shifts its position a little each year and in 2000 years it would not be known where the sun began its course. The sphinx was created as a memorial. It had the head of a woman and the tail of a lion to tell us that this book written in heaven began with the sign 'Virgo' the prophecy of the promised seed, and will end with 'Leo' the lion, messiahs consummated triumph thus joining the 2 ends of this circle of the heavens eternity sphinx.
