Description / Expertise
Eleanor Vere Boyle was a watercolourist and a book illustrator. She was married to the Hon. Rev. Richard Boyle, Rector of Marston, near Frome, Somerset. During the 1850's and 1860's she became well known as an illustrator of children's books. After the death of her husband she moved to Huntercombe, near Henley, and turned to writing and illustrating gardening books.
